    i always read yr blog, u give ne lot's of information and ideas on how to teach my ss.i teach muet in a rural area so it a bit hard for me coz of their attitude.

      i feel very strongly that the teacher is the deciding factor that makes or breaks the student. you are the catalyst.. and it is up to you to mould their attitudes to favour the language. do fun activities in class, give their rewards (monetary or otherwise), instil in them a reason for learning, a goal that suits their level.. whatever you do, dont scold, nag or be hurtful. every language is beautiful, find its strengths and try your best to convey it to them through life experiences, prose, poetry and even songs.. :P dare to make the difference!
