Okay, answers done. Up for debate. Please try to remember I am doing this for FREE and you shouldn't annoy me by demanding answers especially since my own students did not take this exam and I was hard pressed to find a copy of the questions. Remember that it is virtuous to be patient and I do not tolerate rudeness. Be thankful that someone bothers to discuss MUET answers with you and stop being selfish. I am officially annoyed by the emails I am getting 'forcing' and 'demanding' answers. If you can't say anything nice, just don't say anything at all - that's the golden rule!
Anyway, I will be blogging soon about the writing tasks. Even I didn't expect Q2 to be so tough but if you gave good examples like aviation tragedies, natural disasters including flood mitigation in Malaysia and mass massacres or terrorism including the ISIS agenda then you are on the right track. if you spoke about problems as opposed to 'tragedies' which are calamities that are on a much larger scale, then you may not have answered the question accurately. The trick is to tie in Part A with Part B of the question. Wait for my next blog, but this time, be patient!

DeleteApparently,i didnt :( bcause in my point of view,every tragedies can be avoid n have solution for it since i did not mention about natural disaster like eartquakes,tsunami..... The scope is only that related to core lives...like safety,health issues n social problems. Safety- be careful-wearing safety belt-drive-n protective attire in construction site to avoid tragedy n ease casualties.

But at the last minute i had put all the point in with simple sentence and not really discribe it... Of cause there are no enough words the the essay....I think i have to retake it for the forth time

DeleteMiss, am I wrong if I chose to write in the reasons why we should take preventive actions for the writing task 2? Please let me know because I'm am really panicking since my school etcher told me that I could be seriously wrong. ReplyDeleteHello madam. Diff people perceives diff view of tragedies. N in my opinion, tragedies can be define diversely from natural disaster to human daily lives .as abortion , accidents, hving diseases like cancer can be define as a tragedies too...well just my point of view tho

ReplyDeleteQn 30: I think it should be C because it says fall short of what you KNOW you can achieve. "know" in this context seems like an expection
Qn 35: I would think it should be C. Crowding out means displacing. So substituting is a better answer than suppressing.
