Long awaited, I'm sure. First there was the school holidays and then I only just today got a hardcopy of the exam as my students are not taking this March exam. Anyway, I have cross checked with a fellow friend and we only have minor differences. Below are my answers, NOT MPM's. I'm curious to find out how come the tabulation of the first 7 questions has no 'A' and 2 'B's and soooo many 'C's (5!)... I wonder if anyone can enlighten me on this? Feel free to contact me.

ReplyDeleteUsually the result will be released almost 2 months from the written exam date. Means it might be around 10 May. If i'm not mistaken.

ReplyDeleteIf u calculate /300, 28/45 is equivalent to 75/120. It also means u scored 187.5/300. Band 4 already for your reading paper. It depends on your 3 other papers. I think u can attain it if u scored band 4 for each paper respectively.

I felt there was something wrong with the question. Shouldn't it be
"that(line 27)" instead of line 29?
I personally feel that "that(line 29)" is a sentence connector and it's not referring to anything.
Would really appreciate your help and advice. Thanks in advance and have a nice day ahead. :)

ReplyDeleteI disagree with answer provided to question 1 and question 28. Question 1 has already been debated above. Whereas for Question 28, I feel "A vaccine that would curb the disease for good"- Line 18 is the key. It may be an elusive solution, but still a solution if the researchers succeeded nonetheless. Correct me if I'm wrong! :)
