Suggested Answers for Session 2 MUET Reading 800/3 2025

Hey there everyone. Excited to check your answers? Try to aim for 30/40 and you'll be on target for Band 4 and above k. As per usual, these are my suggested answers based on logical thinking and evidence-based research, but has no link whatsoever with MPM's actual answers. Be nice in the comment section when you debate. Also, last night's NATIONAL MUET COUNTDOWN LIVE PREP was such an outstanding success. I will do it again running up to the MUET 2025 Session 3 exam at the end of the year.

Here goes!

1. B (1.5 hrs)

18. C (mash for 6-8 months, flatten for 9-11 months etc)

19. A (Text 1: slighly sweet, creamy, Text 2: tender and sweet)

20. C (Text 1: freezing tips, Text 2: can still eat expired frozen pease as the date is just an estimation of peak quality)

34. A (loves = adores = fell head over heels, all things space = anything related to space learning)

35. B (booming field of space resources)

36. C (driven by the falling cost of launches, no evidence of joint effort by NASA & ESA so definitely not D)

37. C (economic growth of gold industry created population boom)

38. C (large quantities of water ice have been detected in cold, permanently shadowed craters, esp at the Moon's poles where sunlight rarely reaches)

39. A/C (C: paras 9 to 12 all focus on ways to provide fuel in space due to lack of fuel stations in space so this comes across as the main idea. However, A could also be a viable answer because fuel is still related to cost so capital would surely be costly).

40. B (hopeful tone because of the 'if' conditional sentence used in last para)
